How to compare groups when data is not 'NORMAL'?

EXAMPLE:

STEP I : Checking for normality.

All 3 group have not normal distribution therefore Kruskal-Wallis H-test should be performed.

HYPOTHESIS:

STEP I : State the null and research hypotheses.
  • H0: Medians are equal.
  • H1: Medians are not equal.

    STEP II : Level of significance.

    alpha = 0.05

    RESULTS:

    Kruskal-Wallis H-test will compare medians of all 3 groups.

    Sig < alpha
    .025 < .05

    significant difference between the groups has benn found.

    EXPLANATION:

    Group are different from each other.
